The season I love in London the most it`s a season of park festivals. Summer is the best time for soundsystems parade under the trees, under the colorful tents and just under the blue sky full of ultraviolet. Last sunday I have attended festival in Clissold park in Hackney borough. Strait away I sticked on the Jamaicain style music tent. The host of two different sound systems. Solution and Glady Wax soundsystems. It was kind of battle. Old school culture classics versus latests hot tunes from Jamaica. Selectors and Dj from one crew were using only their set of speakers and bass bins. I think, that time Glady Wax were managed to produce deeper and better bass than Solution. Next time we`ll see who rock the ground. I got 5 hours of continious pleasure and enjoi toghether with funny and shiny London massive. Rrrespect. Watch out the photo and video report.

Big Up Yaself everyone! Yesterday, I had a chance to attended incredible live show of djs Krush and Vadim in Koko club. It was extrimly powerfool, oriental downtempo with kicking bass of dj Krush, spiced down with lot of FXed scratchy drops and crazy fountain of styles by dj Vadim alongside his talanted Yarah Bravo on the mic. From groovy funk hip-hop to drumandbass in with ninja tune samples. I really got positive vibes on that event. Read more in russian.

D.N.K promotion в рамках проекта [Дарить Новую Культуру] представляет очередной музыкальный фестиваль CIFRA [Titbit Future – Лакомый кусок будущего] в формате интеллектуального электро!
Фестиваль проходит уже в 4-ый раз и каждый раз собирает всё больше людей, которые интересуются умной электроникой! В этот раз CIFRA собирает друзей в известном всем клабберам месте – в Галерее «Грива», что на Даугавгривас 31. Хэдлайнерами проекта являются два российских коллектива -лучший электронный проект России «Ёлочные Игрушки & 2H Company» [Питер] и S.T.I.N.K.I.E [Москва].
Российские коллективы поддержат более 20 музыкантов, DJ-ев и VJ—ев из латвийских объединений, которые пропагандируют все грани электронной музыки.
Периметр площадки будет поделён на сектора: POWER , PLAZMA , CHILL ,OPEN PLACE.
Всё начнётся в 21:00 с этюдов, которые представит известный в Латвии «Театр Сна». На протяжении ночи в Chill Out можно будет присоединиться к церемониям чайной Goja, выиграть призы от Sony Ericsson и попасть в репортажную съёмку канала MTV, который будет снимать материал для тематической передачи. Затем, через слой Интеллигентного электро, весь проект перерастёт в танцевальное действо, поддержанное мощным светом, видео инсталом и звуком!

D.N.K projekta [Dāvāt Jaunu Kultūru] ietvaros iepazīstina ar kārtējo muzikālo festivālu CIFRA [Titbit Future – Gards kumosiņš nākotnes] intelektuālā elektro formātā!
Festivāls norit jau ceturto reizi, un katru reizi uz to pulcējas arvien vairāk un vairāk cilvēku, kas interesējas par „gudru” elektroniku! Šoreiz CIFRA pulcē draugus visiem klubu mīļotājiem pazīstamā vietā – galerijā „Grīva”, kas atrodas Daugavgrīvas ielā 31. Projekta vadītāji ir divi kolektīvi no Krievijas – labākais elektroniskais projekts Krievijā „Ёлочные Игрушки & 2H Company” [Sanktpēterburga] un S.T.I.N.K.I.E [Maskava].
Kolektīvi no Krievijas atbalstīs vairāk nekā 20 muzikantus, DJ-us un VJ—us no Latvijas apvienībām, kas propagandē visas elektroniskās mūzikas šķautnes. Laukuma perimetrs būs sadalīts sektoros: POWER , PLAZMA , CHILL ,OPEN PLACE.

You might have heard that Afro Art Bossman‘s favorite Bar , The Chachacha is no more but no fear he has a new favorite now thats conveniently celebrated in the Funky little seven inch single you hold in your hands.
First the music then time for a drink..
The A side is a beaty take on the Tango but no Gotan smoothness here, instead it roars along like a Vespa on amphetamines with a distorted bassline roaring at the traffic lights and some beefy drums and tasty horn breaks to get those dancers feet flying..and an accordionist to give it that Funky Fray Bentos Flavor…
The B is a special Paul Murphy mix, much much more drums and some pounding timbales as he takes the tango boat to Cuba.
The tune was brought to the Afro Art table by DJ Farrapo (Baiano Vem) but it was renamed by Paul Murphy in honour of one of his favorite bars, “Malanotte” (it means Evil Night by the way.. hmmm ..must have had one or two many glasses of the local hooch) in the vilage of Bellano in Italy which is situated near Hollywood actor George Clooneys house in Lake Como.
There are rumours that the Legendary Star pops in for the odd glass of Vino.. Maybe he’s heard the record and wants to check it out??
