“Creating an atmosphere” is what DJ Kone famous for. “That’s my alter side, I play “Bar sets”, as I ironically call them, more often then minimal ones. Music is not loud, sound system is good, people don’t notice music, but suddenly a few nice girls start to dance, than others. Some DJs say I play lounge, but for me it’s more house. Just the mood is very subtle. If Electro is screaming, Nu’Jazz is e-z talking, and even whispering.” Light and uplifting eclectic DJ sets of Nu’Jazz, Funk, Balkan, Latino, Reggae and Afrobeat usually regulary played at Cuba Cafe and others clubs.

5 января в клубе Space:Garage на Андрейсале состоится мероприятие под эгидой радиопередачи Intelligent Beats, продолжающее традицию «интеллигентных» вечеров. На этот раз меломанов ждет несколько сюрпризов и более танцевальная музыка.

Первым сюрпризом станет Линас Строцкис (Linas Strockis) из соседней Литвы, выступающий под псевдонимом Few Nolder. Его талант уже был замечен в Англии, где Линас подписал контракт с леиблом Planet Mu, и в конце января там же выйдет его первый официальный релиз Few Nolder. Музыку, которую пишет Линас, можно охарактеризовать как романтическое техно, и такое необычное сочетание уже сделало этого молодого музыканта любимчиком литовской публики.

Второй сюрприз — живое выступление проекта Speyer. Его автором является участник группы Alexandroid Александр Матросов. В соло-проекте Александр раскрывается как одаренный композитор, музыке которого присуща как джазовая мелодичность, так и утонченность и сложность электроники. На нет-пластинке QUIET, презентация которой прошла на Андрейсале в январе 2007 года, Александр выступает и в роли певца, обладающего приятным бархатным вокалом.

Откроет вечеринку deep/minimal techno сет в исполнении диджея и радиоведущей передачи Intelligent Beats Ксении Камиказа. После живых выступлений на сцену выйдет DJ Vital, который своими сетами уже не раз сводил с ума публику не только в Space:Garage, но и на многих других площадках Риги. В заключение вечеринки зажечь приглашает DJ Kone, дижейские сеты которого отличаются музыкальной эклектичностью и неизменно вызывают восторг у любителей танцевать до утра.

Начало вечеринки в 22:00, вход 2 Ls с флайером, 4 Ls — без.
