DISKOKAINE in his own words:
My mother says that my haircut looks like shit! my dad doesnt care about that but he
thinks that i cant deal with money….especially the money i dont earn by myself! several
promotors from moscow, nyc, london, rio de janeiro, chicago, paris etc…invited me in
the last 12month to play records by other people at their parties. somehow they didnt
invite me ever again…maybe they also dont like my hair or that i deal with their money.
nevertheless i’m more into making music by myself instead of mixing 2 records together. i
rarely do remixes since mostly i think the original is anyway the best. but for guys like
“MOBY” i had to do it since my mother likes him.
i executed-produced and started the career of the project “SALLY SHAPIRO” which just was
nominated “best album of the year”next to guys like JUSTICE at the NYC “PLUG AWARDS”
where she did one of her rare live appaerances sharing stage with NICK CAVE.
i also did music with lovely people like “Alexander Robotnick”,”Princess Superstar” and
“Legowelt”.
anyway,what bothers me is that i started to dj because i liked to play music of other
people.but then at some point i was only doing it because i thought i get more girls by
beeing a dj. now i think everybody calls himself a dj and also i dont need girls anymore
so its a bit wierd for me to get paid for that.
my girlfriend always tells me that i’m bad in bed and that i’m getting fad. furthermore
my “MS Word”programm just tells me with those underlined red words that my english sucks
big time but trust me…. my german in interviews is even worse.
honestly,i never thought about all those things mentioned above.
but if you invite me to your party i will make you guys smile.
