Not so long ago I\u2019ve received a present from Yaputhma from the past. A double LP and CD. I\u2019ve put a needle on a record and carried away by the memory lane. Can\u2019t figure out what was that experience. Was it real or was it a dream, a dream within a dream, dream of a dream?<\/p>\n

Hard to put in a letters in some consistent manner all those trip alike snapshots of a memory bubbles of unorthodoxal nineties. Postindustrial after state possibilities and challenges. Psychedelic escapism. Factories and manufactures producing raving societies but not it favour of a five year plan of a past. A lot of smoke and not much real fire. Dark pulsating underground with low ceilings pressure and \u2026 suddenly there is a shiny people on a sunny stage. People from another dimension – Yaputhma! Alternatively disco and virtually techno beats fusion. Boom boom Shaka Pheeey.<\/p>\n

Somewhere along them is me in a long yellow robe, with a bunch of cables and a drumsticks. Silver flight case, local tours, first backstage badges. Soldering and sound direction. Bright and trilling. Honey and strawberry. Steap ascending to the media scene and to the spotlights of main music festivals of the country. Production time in a real recording studio as a prize. Dizziness from that all and curiosity of opportunities given by professional studio instruments and multitrack ADAT recordings. Track by track did not sum up quite the same as free flow in a countryside club gig.<\/p>\n

Big audiovisual event and Yaputhma solo the main event showcasing the burning power of takeoff to higher level. Blessed children of Yaputhma are taken into the space. All gone in a bursting bass and strobes and what is left is lights in our eyes, dead synthesisers, \u00a0broken guitar and compact cassette. The tape wasn\u2019t close enough to what it should be. It should be deeper than that. Everyone is free.<\/p>\n

Twenty years later it flashes back as an feedback from that time. Bright, shiny and fresh as \u00a0it was back then, as far as I can remember. It sound good.
