Valmiera Goes Ragga

Not only Riga goes ragga, also Valmiera does. This Saturday after hot gig in Riga we go straight to Valmiera, a city 80 km from Riga. We gonna blaze our champion sound and burn subwoofers in club called Čempions. More info found on flyer. See ya!

Riga Goes Ragga!

Friday, May 28 Crystral Sound Headquarters in VEF Block 5 will again be home to the regular Reggae, Dancehall and Ragga-jungle affair “Riga Goes Ragga”. This time with MC & Selecta Ignat Gorazd with a real dancehall bashment vibe in his luggage. The intro of the evening will be provided by Latvian souljah with Lithuanian heart – Max Voitech with a selected choice of dub and reggae. Later – songs and dancin’ together with Riga Goes Ragga residents – Apofeoz Sound System and Crystral Sound System.

Värka Kru Night

at Space:Garage, Audeju 12, 6th floor, Old Town, Riga, LV

Trying to remember days when Varka Kru was formed, providing clubbers with quality drum and bass. Anyone wants to listen music of 1996-1999, golden years of drum’n'bass? Nowadays our pathes quite separated, and of couse we gonna play our current selections too.

Puma will perfome her own songs live alone and with Alex in dancehall and drum’n'bass styles, she also will play as a DJ (reggaetone/dancehall/reggae). Ignat Gorazd will play two DJ sets, one roots and culture, another breakcore. Betons aka Fotu gonna take dust of old drum’n'bass vinyls, liquid funk style. Kone will join him too, with Roni Size/Bristol sound of nineties. Deep and smooth. +Fresh melodic techno set by the morning.

We wil try to get together old clubbers. Film maker Viesturs Kairishs gonna shoot missing club-scene episodes for his documentary ‘A Man From Varka Crew‘ about Martinsh Rubenis (Betons). See you.
